Frederico Hendrickx blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rick Brearley having to make a save. After 94 played minutes FC Shakhtar Donetsk got a freekick which was hit by Frederico Hendrickx. Although Celtic de Sarda had been in control for most of the match, FC Shakhtar Donetsk still came away with the win.
