Spectators: 10827 (Terracing: 8121, Seating: 2490, VIP seats: 216) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Casimiro Quinito started the match with the kick off. After 6 minutes, John Paul Wicks mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CA Piratas and the Club Atlétic Incles players grew even worse after the yellow card. Elano Pimenta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustaaf Van Damme's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Elano Pimenta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calvin Hollingsworth in the 8th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dinu Pelin got free with Elano Pimenta in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 11 minutes, Vrasidas Arkadis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CA Piratas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vrasidas Arkadis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elano Pimenta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dinu Pelin, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After 21 played minutes Calvin Hollingsworth shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for CA Piratas's Elano Pimenta to catch but Calvin Hollingsworth was lucky. It became 1-0 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. In the 23rd minute Dinu Pelin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elano Pimenta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dinu Pelin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Elano Pimenta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute Calvin Hollingsworth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elano Pimenta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casimiro Quinito in the 34th minute of play forced Club Atlétic Incles's goalkeeper Angelino Abancens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elano Pimenta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calvin Hollingsworth in the 37th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dinu Pelin in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elano Pimenta saved CA Piratas from getting behind. In the 42nd minute Calvin Hollingsworth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elano Pimenta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelino Abancens didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Denis Drăgoescu went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dinu Pelin to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, CA Piratas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciriaco Chinto to maneuver through the defense. CA Piratas's Elano Pimenta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinu Pelin in the 53rd minute of play. A well-hit corner resulted in Dinu Pelin heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Angelino Abancens made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vrasidas Arkadis in the 59th minute. In the 64th minute, Casimiro Quinito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elano Pimenta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinu Pelin in the 65th minute of the match. Ciriaco Chinto hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 73 minutes into the match, Club Atlétic Incles's goalkeeper Angelino Abancens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vrasidas Arkadis. Elano Pimenta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Calvin Hollingsworth went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calvin Hollingsworth in the 79th minute of play forced CA Piratas's goalkeeper Elano Pimenta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute, Alfons Göransson had to leave the field with a concussion. After 83 minutes, Casimiro Quinito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CA Piratas and the Club Atlétic Incles players grew even worse after the yellow card. Club Atlétic Incles's Denny Grantham was substituted for Alfons Göransson. CA Piratas's Elano Pimenta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinu Pelin in the 88th minute of play. After 88 minutes of play, Club Atlétic Incles's Dinu Pelin made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elano Pimenta was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Club Atlétic Incles fans cheered their team off the field, for while CA Piratas had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
