Frederico Hendrickx's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zak Foggarty read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Zak Foggarty showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederico Hendrickx, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Frederico Hendrickx's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zak Foggarty read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. In the 29thth minute of the game Frederico Hendrickx who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Racing Club Canillo's Zak Foggarty was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frederico Hendrickx in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zak Foggarty saved Racing Club Canillo from getting behind. 31 minutes into the match, Racing Club Canillo's goalkeeper Zak Foggarty had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frederico Hendrickx. Racing Club Canillo made a substitution. Zenon Cisek replaced Al Blackley. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frederico Hendrickx stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Frederico Hendrickx had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zak Foggarty. The corner ended in Curtis Croxford almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Shakhtar Donetsk's Zhang Hong Xun did a great save. Frederico Hendrickx recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Racing Club Canillo's goal looked a bit too open when Frederico Hendrickx came free, but Zak Foggarty reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frederico Hendrickx blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zak Foggarty having to make a save. In the 76th minute Frederico Hendrickx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zak Foggarty saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frederico Hendrickx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Racing Club Canillo defense, Frederico Hendrickx kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zak Foggarty. The Racing Club Canillo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zak Foggarty should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frederico Hendrickx in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zak Foggarty saved Racing Club Canillo from getting behind. Zak Foggarty stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frederico Hendrickx's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. In the 94th minute Racing Club Canillo were awarded a corner. Curtis Croxford went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Curtis Croxford almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Shakhtar Donetsk's Zhang Hong Xun did a great save. With a little luck, FC Shakhtar Donetsk's Zhang Hong Xun got control of the ball when Ray Milburn tried to sneak it across the goal line.
