The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Delmar Jerardo during the 2nd minute. After 16 played minutes FK Turbina Jablanica got a freekick which was hit by Mario Nunez. In the 20th minute Sanderlend were awarded a corner. Luo Jun Feng went to the cornerflag to take it. Babbis Aggeliadis took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eugenio Lorenzi. Eugenio Lorenzi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 25 minutes into the game, Sanderlend's Jasin Jelić nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eugenio Lorenzi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Sverker Fanström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kai Havertz in the 29th minute of play. After having played for 30 minutes, Kai Havertz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FK Turbina Jablanica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kai Havertz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eugenio Lorenzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Babbis Aggeliadis, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute Sanderlend were awarded a corner. Luo Jun Feng went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Sanderlend's Jasin Jelić getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Babbis Aggeliadis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Babbis Aggeliadis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eugenio Lorenzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Babbis Aggeliadis in the 57th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Babbis Aggeliadis in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eugenio Lorenzi saved FK Turbina Jablanica from getting behind. With a little luck, Sanderlend's Sverker Fanström got control of the ball when Kai Havertz tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, He Cheng Quan managed to get in a good position for a shot. FK Turbina Jablanica's supporters rose to their feet, but He Cheng Quan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sverker Fanström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 70th match minute, Sanderlend was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mujica Nedžić to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the match, Sanderlend's goalkeeper Sverker Fanström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mario Nunez. Sverker Fanström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Šukrija Antončić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jasin Jelić in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eugenio Lorenzi saved FK Turbina Jablanica from getting behind. Babbis Aggeliadis took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eugenio Lorenzi. Eugenio Lorenzi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. FK Turbina Jablanica made a substitution. Baltazar Sejfić replaced Mario Nunez. After having played for 91 minutes, Babbis Aggeliadis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sanderlend's supporters crossed their fingers, but Babbis Aggeliadis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Sanderlend's Sverker Fanström got control of the ball when Baltazar Sejfić tried to sneak it across the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the FK Turbina Jablanica players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sanderlend.
