The corner led Olavarria FC's Isaias Matas to fire away a dangerous shot which Laurence Van Den Abeele despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Olavarria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wolf De Hond came free, but Michel Hendrickx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 28 minutes, Wolf De Hond made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Olavarria FC's Michel Hendrickx tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Armand Steenberghs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Hendrickx having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Michel Hendrickx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Coronel Camba in the 52nd minute of play. With a little luck, Apricis Bruxella's Laurence Van Den Abeele got control of the ball when Isaias Matas tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 56 minutes of play, Olavarria FC's Isaias Matas made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laurence Van Den Abeele was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Wolf De Hond's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Michel Hendrickx was relentless in the 64th minute of the game.
