With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wolf De Hond in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ulises Steven saved AFC Koolkerke from getting behind. Wolf De Hond took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ulises Steven. Ulises Steven dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Laurence Van Den Abeele showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robertinho Carabajal in the 12th minute of the match. Ulises Steven showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wolf De Hond, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Apricis Bruxella's goal looked a bit too open when Robertinho Carabajal came free, but Laurence Van Den Abeele reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute, Robertinho Carabajal reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Laurence Van Den Abeele. The goal made the score 1-2. In the 29th match minute, AFC Koolkerke was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Koit to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute Armand Steenberghs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulises Steven saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AFC Koolkerke's Ulises Steven played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armand Steenberghs in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armand Steenberghs in the 32nd minute of play forced AFC Koolkerke's goalkeeper Ulises Steven to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Diedrik Jamieson in the 34th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by AFC Koolkerke's Alex Koit. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by AFC Koolkerke's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Laurens Vercammen was slow to take the kick. During this time Apricis Bruxella's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Coronel Camba almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AFC Koolkerke's Ulises Steven did a great save. In the 42nd match minute, Apricis Bruxella was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurens Vercammen to maneuver through the defense. Ulises Steven came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Apricis Bruxella's Wolf De Hond. But to his dismay, Wolf De Hond quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After the first half Apricis Bruxella were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Robertinho Carabajal to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, AFC Koolkerke's goalkeeper Ulises Steven had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armand Steenberghs. Ulises Steven showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wolf De Hond in the 55th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Coronel Camba got free with Ulises Steven in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, AFC Koolkerke's Ulises Steven got control of the ball when Armand Steenberghs tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tang Di Nan hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Apricis Bruxella made a substitution. Johny Konings replaced Laurens Vercammen. Apricis Bruxella's Steven Gierman was substituted for Güney Özboga. Apricis Bruxella made a substitution. Dinu Moți replaced Romeu Moreira. Coronel Camba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 76 in the game by Armand Steenberghs from a close distance when the talented Ulises Steven managed to make a qualified save. AFC Koolkerke's players were relieved. Apricis Bruxella's Laurence Van Den Abeele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robertinho Carabajal in the 77th minute of play. After 78 minutes Apricis Bruxella's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Clóvis Bittencourt who took care of the corner kick. In the 85th minute Wolf De Hond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulises Steven saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robertinho Carabajal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurence Van Den Abeele having to interfere. The Apricis Bruxella supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Apricis Bruxella would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
