Spectators: 10804 (Terracing: 8104, Seating: 2485, VIP seats: 215) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Frasier Huber made the kick off which started today's match. Urbano Hotz kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, 1. FC Union Weberei's Owain Wollenmann got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute Urbano Hotz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heiner Studer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Heiner Studer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frasier Huber in the 11th minute of play. SalentoUnited were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after 1. FC Union Weberei's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Franziskus Spillmann took the corner. In the 14th minute Nico Gruenewald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bunda Grande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute Urbano Hotz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heiner Studer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Heiner Studer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frasier Huber in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, 1. FC Union Weberei's Owain Wollenmann got a free kick in the 20th minute. Bunda Grande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bonifatius Scarano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Heiner Studer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frasier Huber, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. SalentoUnited's Bunda Grande proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save SalentoUnited from getting a goal against them. Heiner Studer came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by SalentoUnited's Urbano Hotz. But to his dismay, Urbano Hotz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Bunda Grande made an important save on a dangerous shot by Louie Anderjoli in the 44th minute. Bunda Grande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nico Gruenewald in the 45th minute of the match. With a little luck, SalentoUnited's Bunda Grande got control of the ball when Casimir Wickihalter tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half SalentoUnited were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bonifatius Scarano was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute Frasier Huber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heiner Studer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by 1. FC Union Weberei's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Franziskus Spillmann was slow to take the kick. During this time SalentoUnited's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on SalentoUnited's corner Franziskus Spillmann fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Heiner Studer quite easily take care of the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Franziskus Spillmann could shoot a difficult shot in the 61st minute, which Heiner Studer however easily saved by the left post. SalentoUnited's Bunda Grande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nico Gruenewald in the 62nd minute of play. Nico Gruenewald recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SalentoUnited's John Helgason was substituted for Fox Aiello. Bunda Grande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bonifatius Scarano, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Heiner Studer acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 74th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Peter Marti. Heiner Studer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frasier Huber in the 76th minute. Owain Wollenmann took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bunda Grande. Bunda Grande dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Pawel Gotfryd hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The SalentoUnited players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
