Iwan Lepucki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Rutsch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the match, Uetendorf Wanderers's goal looked a bit too open when Gaudencio Lekubegi came free, but David Aberle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes had been played when some careless play by Uetendorf Wanderers's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Amerigo Labarra was slow to take the kick. During this time LavAzzA's players had a chance to rest. Amerigo Labarra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Aberle read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Rutsch in the 47th minute of play forced LavAzzA's goalkeeper Iwan Lepucki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
