FC Union Weberei's Heiner Studer tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Lionel Paly showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Owain Wollenmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Nino Forster thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Heiner Studer, a very annoying self made goal in the 27th minute which led to 0-3. FC Wil 1900's Tory Pryor got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Casimir Wickihalter's late challenge caught a FC Wil 1900's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Casimir Wickihalter helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th match minute, 1. FC Union Weberei was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casimir Wickihalter to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute Téo Rosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heiner Studer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 1. FC Union Weberei's Heiner Studer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tory Pryor in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute Tory Pryor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heiner Studer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bonifatius Scarano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, FC Wil 1900's goal looked a bit too open when Owain Wollenmann came free, but Lionel Paly reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Wil 1900's Ivan Dové got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Heiner Studer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Téo Rosa went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Heiner Studer made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Pirmin Jäggi sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pirmin Jäggi got free with Heiner Studer in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Téo Rosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to 1. FC Union Weberei getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Felix Pierucci hit a great ball. Owain Wollenmann kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Tory Pryor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Heiner Studer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play.
