In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind THE ROKERY PIMKIS's goalkeeper Kiran Tomasini, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, THE ROKERY PIMKIS's Kiran Tomasini got control of the ball when Rogelio Montez tried to sneak it across the goal line. THE ROKERY PIMKIS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alessandro Finotti in the 23rd minute. The corner led to THE ROKERY PIMKIS's Christian Mastroiacovo getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 24 minutes into the game, Christian Mastroiacovo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. THE ROKERY PIMKIS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Espen Steelers the free kick. A collision led to THE ROKERY PIMKIS getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Christian Mastroiacovo hit a great ball. In the 26th minute, Williams Imholz made a precise shot to the right of Kiran Tomasini. THE ROKERY PIMKIS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Fabian Honauer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Luna in the 30th minute of play. Kiran Tomasini was a little too slow when Rogelio Montez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 3-0. Rogelio Montez might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kiran Tomasini. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rogelio Montez ran back to his position shaking his head. THE ROKERY PIMKIS's Kiran Tomasini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save THE ROKERY PIMKIS from getting a goal against them. Kiran Tomasini made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Rogelio Montez sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Espen Steelers's Nino Schurter got a free kick in the 44th minute. After a defensive mix-up in THE ROKERY PIMKIS's zone, Nino Schurter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kiran Tomasini came out of the goal and Nino Schurter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nino Schurter stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes Jorge Luna rounded Espen Steelers's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-1. Jorge Luna's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Fabian Honauer skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Montez in the 63rd minute of play forced THE ROKERY PIMKIS's goalkeeper Kiran Tomasini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. THE ROKERY PIMKIS's Rolf Van de kauter got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 68 played minutes Espen Steelers got a freekick which was hit by Williams Imholz. 69 minutes into the match, Espen Steelers's goalkeeper Fabian Honauer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorge Luna. In the 71st match minute, THE ROKERY PIMKIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Mastroiacovo to maneuver through the defense. Espen Steelers's Marco Odermatt was substituted for Torben Krabber. The supporters of Espen Steelers booed when THE ROKERY PIMKIS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Mastroiacovo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Espen Steelers's goalkeeper Fabian Honauer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorge Luna. Hassan Schürch made in the 80th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Alain Berset immediately put the ball in play. Espen Steelers's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
