Stig Verlengia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Iwan Lepucki was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pat Eggers showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 21 minute of play. Ingar Holden scored 1-2 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stig Verlengia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stig Verlengia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingar Holden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute of the match, Pat Eggers tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Iwan Lepucki saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Timoteo Kuhn kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute Liver Bird were awarded a corner. Goran Lindegger went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Goran Lindegger got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Iwan Lepucki quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The LavAzzA players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
