An unexpectedly hard shot by Lukáš Sychra in the 18th minute of play forced FC Blue Twister Liberec's goalkeeper Jiří Hasman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Golden Tigers's Beto Santirso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Emir Devan in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute Lukáš Sychra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jiří Hasman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Ali Emir Devan made a precise shot to the right of Beto Santirso. Golden Tigers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Despite this Beto Santirso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 48 minutes into the match, Golden Tigers's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Emir Devan came free, but Beto Santirso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half FC Blue Twister Liberec were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Orkun Okan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Beto Santirso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. FC Blue Twister Liberec's Jan Motyka was substituted for Rostislav Křivák. In the 76th minute, Ali Emir Devan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victoriano Porfiro in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jiří Hasman saved FC Blue Twister Liberec from getting behind.
