An unexpectedly hard shot by Boukjan Bunt in the 30th minute of play forced Burnelid's goalkeeper Joe Ogier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho's Boukjan Bunt to fire away a dangerous shot which Joe Ogier despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Robert Šedina sped through Burnelid's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Joe Ogier. Kristián Pražan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakub Palas, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 38th minute of the match, Jakub Palas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kristián Pražan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robert Šedina to make the kick off.
