The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Franci Plánička showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Novaes in the 14th minute of the match. Tomáš Houdek was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Elliott Bergsten showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. Franci Plánička stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernardo Novaes's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Franci Plánička took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Novaes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Franci Plánička made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Novaes in the 23rd minute of play. David Ondruš made in the 25th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Pavel Václavek. In the 26th minute Elliott Bergsten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomáš Houdek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC NESYT SEDLEC's Franci Plánička played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Novaes in the 29th minute of play. With a little luck, Lex Academy's Tomáš Houdek got control of the ball when Elliott Bergsten tried to sneak it across the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Bernardo Novaes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Franci Plánička was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 37th minute, Bernardo Novaes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lex Academy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Carlos Alagoano in the 40th minute of play forced Lex Academy's goalkeeper Tomáš Houdek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomáš Houdek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elliott Bergsten in the 46th minute of play. After 47 minutes, Pavel Václavek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC NESYT SEDLEC and the Lex Academy players grew even worse after the yellow card. After the first half Lex Academy were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernardo Novaes made a kick off. Tomáš Houdek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Carlos Alagoano in the 53rd minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Lex Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Pavel Václavek came free, but Tomáš Houdek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leoš Dočkal hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Lex Academy made a substitution. Leo Štengl replaced Leoš Dočkal. Lex Academy's Otmar Schovánek was substituted for Radomir Wyrostek. Tomáš Houdek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pavel Václavek, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. When Bernardo Novaes came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Lex Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardo Novaes couldn't finish the play. FC NESYT SEDLEC made a substitution. Eliézer Guedes replaced José Carlos Alagoano. 86 minutes into the match, Bernardo Novaes notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of FC NESYT SEDLEC's Franci Plánička. Franci Plánička was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lex Academy's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
