When Leoš Dočkal came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Lex Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leoš Dočkal couldn't finish the play. Golden Tigers's Beto Santirso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miloslav Krupička in the 17th minute of play. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Golden Tigers's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Roman Jursa was slow to take the kick. During this time Lex Academy's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Golden Tigers's goalie and right to Bernardo Novaes. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Golden Tigers's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. A collision led to Lex Academy getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Bernardo Novaes hit a great ball. With a little luck, Golden Tigers's Beto Santirso got control of the ball when Bernardo Novaes tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Lex Academy's zone, Victoriano Porfiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomáš Houdek came out of the goal and Victoriano Porfiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomáš Houdek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vilibald Pečinka in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Lex Academy's Bernardo Novaes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Golden Tigers's Beto Santirso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Golden Tigers from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Bernardo Novaes put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Beto Santirso. Tomáš Houdek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victoriano Porfiro's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernardo Novaes got free with Beto Santirso in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 42 minutes Lex Academy's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Demis Son who took care of the corner kick. Demis Son made a great header on Golden Tigers's corner, it was just that Lex Academy's Tomáš Houdek managed to reach the ball for a save. Golden Tigers's attentive Andres Lluis managed to snatch the ball when Michal Pikl made a throw-in in the 74th minute of the game. In the 75th minute, Golden Tigers's Victoriano Porfiro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Klement Chlup got a throw-in 78 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Joélson Alagoano. Lukáš Sychra might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomáš Houdek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lukáš Sychra ran back to his position shaking his head. Tomáš Houdek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lukáš Sychra in the 80th minute of the match. Victoriano Porfiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Tomáš Houdek made a huge save. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lex Academy's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Golden Tigers's Demis Son was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tomáš Houdek in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 88 minutes of play, Lex Academy's Bernardo Novaes made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Beto Santirso was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Lex Academy fans cheered their team off the field, for while Golden Tigers had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
