Kristián Pražan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dyllen Reijnders, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dawid Pluciennik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Zheng Jian Yi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kristián Pražan came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Chorchoj's Emilio Vedillo. But to his dismay, Emilio Vedillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Robert Šedina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute Boukjan Bunt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zheng Jian Yi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

FC Chorchoj's Lautaro-Gabriel Martinez was substituted for Lubor Šauer. The wind increased when Vic Angelsø made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vic Angelsø got free with Kristián Pražan in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kristián Pražan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmondo Coco in the 96th minute of play. The FC Chorchoj supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Chorchoj would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
