Hélder Donatello hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Gordon Harkin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wictor Mejling was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. In the 10th minute, one of lyptus:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for lyptus. After a defensive mix-up in lyptus's zone, Gordon Harkin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wictor Mejling came out of the goal and Gordon Harkin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wictor Mejling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gordon Harkin in the 16th minute of play. lyptus's Wictor Mejling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gordon Harkin in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Gordon Harkin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wictor Mejling was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Hoberg United's Dida Martins proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Hoberg United from getting a goal against them. Gordon Harkin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wictor Mejling having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in lyptus's zone, Gordon Harkin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wictor Mejling came out of the goal and Gordon Harkin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers René Gramgaard in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dida Martins saved Hoberg United from getting behind. Wictor Mejling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gordon Harkin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute, Hélder Donatello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wictor Mejling didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gordon Harkin went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Gordon Harkin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Wictor Mejling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind lyptus's goalkeeper Wictor Mejling, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 47th minute, Gordon Harkin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wictor Mejling was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Hoberg United's Gordon Harkin was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 57th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 62nd minute, Gordon Harkin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hoberg United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. In the 96th match minute, Hoberg United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimmi Imtiaz to maneuver through the defense. Hoberg United played a much better game than lyptus and deserved their victory. The lyptus players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
