Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Fanøe in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dida Martins prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 6 minutes into the match, Hoberg United's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Fanøe came free, but Dida Martins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dida Martins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Berbiz in the 14th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Jimmi Imtiaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the match, Felix Fanøe notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Hoberg United's Dida Martins. Dida Martins was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Peter Östensson hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. The supporters of Strib Galacticos IF booed when Hoberg United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Witomir Jestrimski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dida Martins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Fanøe in the 30th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Hoberg United defense, Felix Fanøe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dida Martins. The Hoberg United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dida Martins should have stopped the shot. 41 minutes into the match, Hoberg United's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Fanøe came free, but Dida Martins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Witomir Jestrimski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Nyaa charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Nyaa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 44th match minute, Strib Galacticos IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Nyaa to maneuver through the defense. The Hoberg United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Strib Galacticos IF were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Felix Fanøe to strike the kick off in the second half. Dida Martins made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Felix Fanøe sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Berbiz in the 56th minute of play forced Hoberg United's goalkeeper Dida Martins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dida Martins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Fanøe, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Dida Martins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Fanøe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Witomir Jestrimski in the 62nd minute of play forced Strib Galacticos IF's goalkeeper Janich Sodborg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dida Martins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Fanøe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hoberg United made a substitution. A collision led to Strib Galacticos IF getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Robbin Moreaux hit a great ball. Strib Galacticos IF made a substitution. Joel Tehas replaced Johnny Eliasen. After a rather tough play, Strib Galacticos IF's Robbin Moreaux got a free kick in the 75th minute. Felix Fanøe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 80 minutes into the match, Hoberg United's goalkeeper Dida Martins had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Fanøe. Janich Sodborg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gordon Harkin went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Mario Rui kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Felix Fanøe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 91st minute, Felix Fanøe reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dida Martins. The goal made the score 1-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Strib Galacticos IF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
