When Jurand Sienkowski, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 10 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Per-Oskar Svensson was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in ReyPoxo's zone, Pitin Vallejo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaizkine Nobo came out of the goal and Pitin Vallejo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th minute Pitin Vallejo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaizkine Nobo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th match minute, Tirant lo Blanch was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Arias to maneuver through the defense. Jurand Sienkowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Per-Oskar Svensson made a huge save. Leif Larsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Enrique Saura stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Jurand Sienkowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ReyPoxo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jurand Sienkowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gaizkine Nobo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Sebastián Reina. Per-Oskar Svensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jurand Sienkowski in the 59th minute of play. ReyPoxo made a substitution. Anatolio Gasso replaced Juan Pablo Yanovitskiy. ReyPoxo's Samuel Etoo was substituted for Jurand Sienkowski. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Samuel Etoo managed to get in a good position for a shot. ReyPoxo's supporters rose to their feet, but Samuel Etoo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Per-Oskar Svensson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tirant lo Blanch's Per-Oskar Svensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Etoo in the 67th minute of play. Tirant lo Blanch's Bernardo España was substituted for Ricardo Arias. Bernardo España got a throw-in 72 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Pitin Vallejo. Samuel Etoo took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Per-Oskar Svensson. Per-Oskar Svensson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Tirant lo Blanch made a substitution. Gaizkine Nobo was left in no man's land by his defense there!
