Arif Memduh Akova showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tales Lucas, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Filip Kubala took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gaizkine Nobo. Gaizkine Nobo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Niceto Gai made in the 28th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Urdin Alabern. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tales Lucas in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arif Memduh Akova saved Hispania from getting behind. Arif Memduh Akova made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tales Lucas in the 34th minute. Arif Memduh Akova took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tales Lucas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tales Lucas struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Arif Memduh Akova didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ReyPoxo. Arif Memduh Akova stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tales Lucas's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Hispania's Arif Memduh Akova proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Hispania from getting a goal against them. 49 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hispania's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leif Larsen was slow to take the kick. During this time ReyPoxo's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, ReyPoxo's Tales Lucas got a free kick in the 49th minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tales Lucas to strike the kick off in the second half. Albano Hegoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. ReyPoxo made a substitution. Samuel Etoo replaced Tales Lucas. Hispania's Osman Čiček was substituted for Filip Kubala. ReyPoxo's Anatolio Gasso was substituted for Juan Pablo Yanovitskiy. ReyPoxo's Fabián Guijarro was substituted for Christer Collin. The Hispania supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Hispania would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
