Vilarelho F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sporting Burgas the free kick. After 10 played minutes Vilarelho F.C got a freekick which was hit by Taio Herrero. Seve Sevilla struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Waclaw Lewkowicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Burgas. If Vintilă Ghițulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vintilă Ghițulescu succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 13th playminute. Waclaw Lewkowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davor Šuker in the 22nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Davor Šuker kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Waclaw Lewkowicz. That made the score 3-0 in the 27 minute of play. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vilarelho F.C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Seve Sevilla was slow to take the kick. During this time Sporting Burgas's players had a chance to rest. Mac Aron made a great header on Sporting Burgas's corner, it was just that Vilarelho F.C's Waclaw Lewkowicz managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 36th minute, Sporting Burgas's Mac Aron dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. Davor Šuker took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Waclaw Lewkowicz. Waclaw Lewkowicz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. In the 43rd minute Prospero Sugoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Perpiñán saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waclaw Lewkowicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davor Šuker, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Vilarelho F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Javier Carmona came free, but Waclaw Lewkowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Davor Šuker made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Davor Šuker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waclaw Lewkowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sporting Burgas's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Seve Sevilla in the 54th minute. Beniamin Giejda made a great header on Sporting Burgas's corner, it was just that Vilarelho F.C's Waclaw Lewkowicz managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beniamin Giejda in the 57th minute of play forced Vilarelho F.C's goalkeeper Waclaw Lewkowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cesario Alabern hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute Beniamin Giejda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waclaw Lewkowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Beniamin Giejda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Davor Šuker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Waclaw Lewkowicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beniamin Giejda, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Javier Carmona in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Waclaw Lewkowicz saved Vilarelho F.C from getting behind. The Sporting Burgas fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Sporting Burgas's Davor Šuker looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Oskars Junco hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Miroslaw Piglowski kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Davor Šuker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sporting Burgas's supporters rose to their feet, but Davor Šuker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Waclaw Lewkowicz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vintilă Ghițulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Waclaw Lewkowicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Cesario Alabern hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Sporting Burgas's Javier Carmona got a free kick in the 94th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sporting Burgas had played much better football throughout.
