In the 4th minute, Zigor Barroso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Herberto Riba was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Zigor Barroso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cometuétano's supporters rose to their feet, but Zigor Barroso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herberto Riba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Antoni Paris took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Herberto Riba. Herberto Riba dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Belarmo Sánchez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose-Enrique Reina in the 13th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the game, Antoni Paris cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Herberto Riba was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 19 minutes of play, Cometuétano's Aliecer Freire made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Herberto Riba was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Sevilla in the 21st minute of play forced Cosuenda's goalkeeper Herberto Riba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Cometuétano's goalkeeper Belarmo Sánchez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rolando Alonso. 30 minutes into the match, Zigor Barroso notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Cosuenda's Herberto Riba. Herberto Riba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Herberto Riba came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Cometuétano's Vidal Vilanova. But to his dismay, Vidal Vilanova quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Valentín Valdivia kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute of the match Antoni Paris shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Herberto Riba showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 43 minutes of play, Cometuétano's Zigor Barroso made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Herberto Riba was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 46th minute Zigor Barroso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herberto Riba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 49 minutes, Zigor Barroso put it in 0-9 from a short distance just to the right of Herberto Riba. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-9.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zigor Barroso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Cometuétano's Antoni Paris nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Herberto Riba made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Antoni Paris took a quick shot and it went in 0-11 without a chance for Herberto Riba to make any attempt to save it. 62 minutes into the game, Antoni Paris recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Herberto Riba. Antoni Paris showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-12. Rolando Alonso hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Cometuétano made a substitution. Kepa Portillo replaced Alejandro Sevilla. The supporters of Cometuétano booed when Cosuenda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolando Alonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Kepa Portillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the match, Zigor Barroso notched a goal, 0-13, to the right of Cosuenda's Herberto Riba. Herberto Riba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Vidal Vilanova had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the match, Cosuenda's goal looked a bit too open when Zigor Barroso came free, but Herberto Riba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Cometuétano's Zigor Barroso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Herberto Riba. That made the score 0-15 after 83 minutes of play. Zigor Barroso showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-17. When the match was over Cometuétano could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cosuenda throughout the match.
