Thanks to some nice moves Antoni Paris could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Apolo Rius however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zigor Barroso in the 37th minute of play forced Latocayteva F.C.'s goalkeeper Apolo Rius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Latocayteva F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Zigor Barroso came free, but Apolo Rius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Zigor Barroso dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Apolo Rius, 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zigor Barroso to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes Cometuétano got a freekick which was hit by Xuan Solera. Zigrīds Pedersens was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 59 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute there was a penalty for Cometuétano. Antoni Paris stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Apolo Rius. 3-1. Cometuétano's Kepa Portillo was substituted for Alejandro Sevilla. Cometuétano made a substitution. Argenis Coira replaced Hernán Olmos. Apolo Rius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antoni Paris in the 67th minute of play. Folke Fors hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Latocayteva F.C.'s Vito Alcalde was substituted for René Alabern. Latocayteva F.C.'s Gaizka Ponce De Leon was substituted for Saul Villanueva. Latocayteva F.C.'s Gilberto Casals was substituted for Odilon Caminero. Folke Fors kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Apolo Rius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kepa Portillo in the 73rd minute of play. Apolo Rius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antoni Paris in the 77th minute of the match. After 85 minutes of play, Cometuétano's Vidal Vilanova made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Apolo Rius was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Latocayteva F.C. booed when Cometuétano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yosua Carballido didn't get a good kick on the ball. Latocayteva F.C.'s Folke Fors got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 94 minutes into the match, Latocayteva F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Zigor Barroso came free, but Apolo Rius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Zigor Barroso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Apolo Rius. After some careless play in the Latocayteva F.C. defense, Zigor Barroso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Apolo Rius. The Latocayteva F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Apolo Rius should have stopped the shot. Latocayteva F.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
