Nando Quintero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vidal Vilanova in the 4th minute of play. 7 minutes into the game, Hernán Olmos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nando Quintero. Hernán Olmos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Emeterio Diaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Belarmo Sánchez having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Cometuétano's Yosua Carballido slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nando Quintero. That made the score 3-0 after 20 minutes of play. In the 28th minute, Cometuétano's Zigor Barroso dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. With a little luck, UD Gaditana's Nando Quintero got control of the ball when Alejandro Sevilla tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the UD Gaditana defense, Antoni Paris kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nando Quintero. The UD Gaditana fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nando Quintero should have stopped the shot. Nando Quintero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zigor Barroso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the match, UD Gaditana's goalkeeper Nando Quintero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zigor Barroso. After a rather tough play, UD Gaditana's Salbatore Acosta got a free kick in the 44th minute. After 47 minutes, Eleuterio Abril mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UD Gaditana and the Cometuétano players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nando Quintero had in the 48thth minute some difficulties stopping Antoni Paris's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Zigor Barroso made the kick off in the second half. Nando Quintero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xuan Solera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nando Quintero came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Cometuétano's Zigor Barroso. But to his dismay, Zigor Barroso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zigor Barroso in the 59th minute of play forced UD Gaditana's goalkeeper Nando Quintero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Belarmo Sánchez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salbatore Acosta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nando Quintero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zigor Barroso went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. 69 minutes into the match, UD Gaditana's goal looked a bit too open when Vidal Vilanova came free, but Nando Quintero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 69th play minutes Vidal Vilanova shot 9-0, a short shot which went by Nando Quintero and just under the crossbar into goal. UD Gaditana's Nando Quintero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zigor Barroso in the 72nd minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Zigor Barroso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nando Quintero. UD Gaditana's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zigor Barroso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. In the 79th match minute, UD Gaditana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omar Mata to maneuver through the defense. Zigor Barroso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Nando Quintero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
