After 21 played minutes Sporting Burgas got a freekick which was hit by Beniamin Giejda. Álvaro Perpiñán took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benvide Valerón, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 24 minutes, Davor Šuker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sporting Burgas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Davor Šuker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th minute Humberto Navarro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Perpiñán saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Álvaro Perpiñán made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Navarro in the 31st minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Sporting Burgas's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Navarro came free, but Álvaro Perpiñán reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benvide Valerón in the 35th minute of play forced Sporting Burgas's goalkeeper Álvaro Perpiñán to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Ke Xiong Chen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sporting Burgas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave tribal la rapita the free kick. After 39 played minutes Sporting Burgas got a freekick which was hit by Ke Xiong Chen. A hard shot by Alfredão Leme from long distance, 40 minutes into the match, got Álvaro Perpiñán's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Eduard Aasamaa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vintilă Ghițulescu in the 42nd minute of play. When Joel Ferrer fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sporting Burgas's protests and gave Joel Ferrer a yellow card for diving instead. Álvaro Perpiñán made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benvide Valerón in the 47th minute. In the 48th minute of the match tribal la rapita got a corner. Sporting Burgas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Benvide Valerón ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on tribal la rapita's corner Benvide Valerón fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Álvaro Perpiñán quite easily take care of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Humberto Navarro made a kick off. Davor Šuker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nayely Mendez kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Eduard Aasamaa made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Vintilă Ghițulescu sent off a good shot on target. After 66 played minutes tribal la rapita got a freekick which was hit by Lauro Nunes. After a defensive mix-up in tribal la rapita's zone, Davor Šuker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduard Aasamaa came out of the goal and Davor Šuker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to tribal la rapita getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Alfredão Leme hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 69 minutes, Eduard Aasamaa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Vintilă Ghițulescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduard Aasamaa having to interfere. Eduard Aasamaa made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Vintilă Ghițulescu sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Sporting Burgas booed when tribal la rapita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lauro Nunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Seve Sevilla sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Eduard Aasamaa threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Seve Sevilla this time. Benvide Valerón sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduard Aasamaa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Beniamin Giejda in the 79th minute. tribal la rapita's Eduard Aasamaa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save tribal la rapita from getting a goal against them. 86 minutes into the match, tribal la rapita's goalkeeper Eduard Aasamaa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Beniamin Giejda. After some careless play in the Sporting Burgas defense, Humberto Navarro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Álvaro Perpiñán. The Sporting Burgas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Álvaro Perpiñán should have stopped the shot. After 93 minutes, Lauro Nunes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the tribal la rapita and the Sporting Burgas players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, tribal la rapita's Lauro Nunes got a free kick in the 93rd minute. After recieving a nice pass, Sporting Burgas's Seve Sevilla tried to score from far away in the 94th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, tribal la rapita's Antxo Morientes got a free kick in the 96th minute. In the 98th minute, Seve Sevilla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, tribal la rapita could leave the field as winners, despite Sporting Burgas having more of the ball for most of the match.
