Rikard Misje scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arturo Erosa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rikard Misje hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Skull Team's Damaso Buendia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Domingo Maria. That made the score 1-1 after 8 minutes of play. Isidoro Balcells blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arturo Erosa having to make a save. Rikard Misje sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gambica Roja's Domingo Maria proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Gambica Roja from getting a goal against them. Rikard Misje might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arturo Erosa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rikard Misje ran back to his position shaking his head. Arturo Erosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rikard Misje in the 26th minute of play. Arturo Erosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rikard Misje, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Gregorio Velasco was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 30 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute, one of Gambica Roja:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gambica Roja. After some careless play in the Gambica Roja defense, Gabino Muelas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Domingo Maria. The Gambica Roja fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Domingo Maria should have stopped the shot. 35 minutes into the match, Rikard Misje had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arturo Erosa. Skull Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rikard Misje was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The supporters of Gambica Roja booed when Skull Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabino Muelas didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Gambica Roja getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Adolfo Ramirez hit a great ball. Domingo Maria stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damaso Buendia's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Damaso Buendia was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Gambica Roja booed when Skull Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Etxahun Gomar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arturo Erosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rikard Misje, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute, Valcho Nenchev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gambica Roja's Domingo Maria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alarico Camarasa in the 59th minute of play. Arturo Erosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santana Marcilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Rikard Misje kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arturo Erosa. That made the score 2-3 in the 69 minute of play. Skull Team made a substitution. Jerold Erosa replaced Damaso Buendia. In the 76th minute of the match Santana Marcilla shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arturo Erosa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Arturo Erosa came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Gambica Roja's Rikard Misje. But to his dismay, Rikard Misje quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Skull Team's goalkeeper Arturo Erosa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Domingo Maria came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Skull Team's Rafael Calatayud. But to his dismay, Rafael Calatayud quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. 87 minutes into the match, Gambica Roja's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Calatayud came free, but Domingo Maria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valcho Nenchev charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valcho Nenchev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Gambica Roja getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Valcho Nenchev hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Gambica Roja's Valcho Nenchev got a free kick in the 92nd minute.
