In the 9th minute Raphaël Lallemand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jolan Galindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yves Leite hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 11thth minute of the game Abraham Beauval who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Pointe Courte's Jolan Galindo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Abraham Beauval kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jolan Galindo. That made the score 2-0 in the 18 minute of play. In the 22nd minute Abraham Beauval shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jolan Galindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Big Burne got a throw-in 23 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Léon Sureau. If Raphaël Lallemand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jolan Galindo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abraham Beauval in the 26th minute. In the 33rdth minute of the game Raphaël Lallemand who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Pointe Courte's Jolan Galindo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cuauhtémoc Cardenas made in the 37th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by La Pointe Courte's Diogo Queirós. After a defensive mix-up in Les Pionniers de Touraine's zone, Yves Leite stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ziemowit Harasimowicz came out of the goal and Yves Leite tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. La Pointe Courte's Jolan Galindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raphaël Lallemand in the 43rd minute of play. 45 minutes into the game, Diogo Queirós was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Pointe Courte's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Les Pionniers de Touraine the free kick. Diogo Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yves Leite stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in La Pointe Courte's zone, Abraham Beauval stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jolan Galindo came out of the goal and Abraham Beauval tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The throw-in from Big Burne in the 56th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by La Pointe Courte's Diogo Queirós. Yves Leite could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Ziemowit Harasimowicz made a huge save. Jolan Galindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raphaël Lallemand in the 59th minute of play. Les Pionniers de Touraine's Raphaël Lallemand managed to work through La Pointe Courte's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Raphaël Lallemand dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. La Pointe Courte's Yang Feng Guang was substituted for Yves Leite. Les Pionniers de Touraine's Karl Kubler was substituted for Raphaël Lallemand. Les Pionniers de Touraine's Désiré Alberto was substituted for Patryk Kopacz. The supporters of Les Pionniers de Touraine booed when La Pointe Courte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonis Mavrofidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ziemowit Harasimowicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yang Feng Guang, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute.
