In the 8th minute Green Madness were awarded a corner. La Škarpa went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that La Škarpa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jolan Galindo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 10th minute, Bogdan Gomolka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josué Pagueguy in the 10th minute of play forced Green Madness's goalkeeper Marcelino Flor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Green Madness's goalkeeper Marcelino Flor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 14th minute La Pointe Courte were awarded a corner. Josué Pagueguy went to the cornerflag to take it. After 14 played minutes La Pointe Courte got a freekick which was hit by Yves Leite. In the 17th minute, Benny Impens ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelino Flor was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 20th minute of the match Josué Pagueguy sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcelino Flor skillfully saved the ball. Jolan Galindo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John-Paul Marquant in the 23rd minute of the match. Jolan Galindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Terry Peysson in the 25th minute of play. In the 25th match minute, Green Madness was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Étienne Cubizolles to maneuver through the defense. The throw-in from Teofil Tarasek in the 29th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by La Pointe Courte's Patrick Balkanlı. In the 30th minute, Green Madness's John-Paul Marquant dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Marcelino Flor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yves Leite, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute John-Paul Marquant shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jolan Galindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, La Pointe Courte's Jolan Galindo got control of the ball when John-Paul Marquant tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benny Impens hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute, John-Paul Marquant fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 49 minutes into the game, Terry Peysson lined in a short shot 2-2 behind a frustrated Jolan Galindo. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yves Leite to make the kick off. Jolan Galindo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John-Paul Marquant, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Green Madness's goalkeeper Marcelino Flor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yves Leite. John-Paul Marquant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mário Lendaa kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gianluca Prestin got free with Marcelino Flor in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Green Madness made a substitution. Ren Feng replaced Teofil Tarasek. The audience was convinced that Yang Feng Guang's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelino Flor was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. If Yang Feng Guang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcelino Flor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yang Feng Guang in the 86th minute. La Pointe Courte's Bastien Domenge pulled a muscle in his leg after 88 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Terry Peysson charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Terry Peysson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 89 played minutes Green Madness got a freekick which was hit by Terry Peysson. A sloppy throw-in by Patrick Balkanlı in the 91st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Green Madness's La Škarpa. With a little luck, Green Madness's Marcelino Flor got control of the ball when Yang Feng Guang tried to sneak it across the goal line. Columbo Duarte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
