The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tristan Bétourne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaud Konieczny in the 5th minute of play. Tristan Bétourne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonin Dagorne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antonin Dagorne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Tristan Bétourne made a huge save. A sloppy throw-in by Jean-François Degrémont in the 18th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Royal PSG's Yazid Guinaudeau. Tristan Vicente didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edoardo Filippini went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antonin Dagorne got free with Tristan Bétourne in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaud Konieczny in the 25th minute of play forced Royal PSG's goalkeeper Tristan Bétourne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edoardo Filippini took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tristan Vicente. Tristan Vicente dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Tristan Vicente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edoardo Filippini in the 32nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Royal PSG's Tristan Bétourne got control of the ball when Antonin Dagorne tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tristan Vicente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute Edoardo Filippini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tristan Vicente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antonin Dagorne received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tristan Bétourne came out and tried to block the shot, but Antonin Dagorne slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 44th minute. In the 49th minute, Edoardo Filippini ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tristan Vicente was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. After the first half Royal PSG were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Edoardo Filippini in the 59th minute of play forced Herblay's goalkeeper Tristan Vicente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Royal PSG's Christophe Dureuil was substituted for Lucila Gimeno. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonin Dagorne in the 67th minute of play forced Royal PSG's goalkeeper Tristan Bétourne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Fred Torres took a quick shot and it went in 3-5 without a chance for Tristan Vicente to make any attempt to save it. Antonin Dagorne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Royal PSG supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Royal PSG would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
