After 35 minutes Lyon Olympique 69's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ange Hatton who took care of the corner kick. Team FCTS's Ange Hatton was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Manuel Espagnet in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 38th minute, Cezar Nișu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. André Luiz Souza was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. If Toni Dean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Team FCTS getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Ange Hatton hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

A collision led to Lyon Olympique 69 getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Nicolas Biard hit a great ball. After 58 minutes, Jean Raffier made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Lyon Olympique 69's Manuel Espagnet tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Team FCTS made a substitution. José Viala replaced Djibril Soto. Yuma Roekito struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. André Luiz Souza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lyon Olympique 69. Team FCTS's Feng Yu Ting was substituted for Peter Yeo.
