Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, André Luiz Souza successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Mario Dewaele kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving André Luiz Souza. That made the score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. In the 24thth minute of the game Ange Hatton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Valette Stars's 龙剑宽 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vasil Mushanov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Mario Dewaele had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 龙剑宽 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Djibril Soto in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Dewaele in the 45th minute of play forced Team FCTS's goalkeeper André Luiz Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Ange Hatton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 龙剑宽 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Valette Stars's Boris Marguier was substituted for Dave Alexis. Team FCTS's José Viala was substituted for Djibril Soto. Valette Stars's Guillaume Chaine was substituted for Mario Dewaele. Guillaume Chaine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute, Félicien Delteil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute José Viala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 龙剑宽 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Team FCTS's Sobah Tee quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Vasil Mushanov, made in the 87th minute of the game. 91 minutes into the match, Team FCTS's goal looked a bit too open when Guillaume Chaine came free, but André Luiz Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Team FCTS's André Luiz Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillaume Chaine in the 94th minute of play. Valette Stars's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
