After some careless play in the FK ORLOVI defense, Domagoj Grković kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marin Pejaković. The FK ORLOVI fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marin Pejaković should have stopped the shot. In the 11th minute of the match Lipovljani got a corner. FK ORLOVI's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tonko Urban ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lipovljani's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tonko Urban in the 12th minute. Tonko Urban made a great header on Lipovljani's corner, it was just that FK ORLOVI's Marin Pejaković managed to reach the ball for a save. Marin Pejaković didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Domagoj Grković went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. FK ORLOVI's Marin Pejaković played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domagoj Grković in the 17th minute of play. The Lipovljani fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Lipovljani's Domagoj Grković looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Domagoj Grković managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lipovljani's supporters rose to their feet, but Domagoj Grković was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marin Pejaković breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Tonko Urban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Domagoj Grković ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marin Pejaković was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. 30 minutes into the game, one of FK ORLOVI:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 32nd minute there was a penalty for Lipovljani. Domagoj Grković stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Marin Pejaković. 0-6. When Domagoj Grković came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Lipovljani fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domagoj Grković couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domagoj Grković in the 42nd minute of play forced FK ORLOVI's goalkeeper Marin Pejaković to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Domagoj Grković to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of FK ORLOVI booed when Lipovljani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lovro Majer didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Lipovljani's Domagoj Grković slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marin Pejaković. That made the score 0-15 after 87 minutes of play. In the 90th minute, Domagoj Grković left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lipovljani fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-16. Lipovljani's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
