Spectators: 10827 (Terracing: 8121, Seating: 2490, VIP seats: 216) --Sibenik--'s Borislav Tvrdić started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kent Klint showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antun Bunić in the 6th minute of the match. Borislav Tvrdić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kent Klint having to interfere. The supporters of --Sibenik-- booed when NK Dubrava Zagreb was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tage Myrholm didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute, Kazimir Pendo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alen Kovič was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After 17 minutes, Tytus Terasek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NK Dubrava Zagreb and the --Sibenik-- players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 17th minute of the match Jasenko Rogošić shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kent Klint showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Kent Klint came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by --Sibenik--'s Jasenko Rogošić. But to his dismay, Jasenko Rogošić quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Tihomir Zdorc hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. --Sibenik--'s Alen Kovič proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save --Sibenik-- from getting a goal against them. 26 minutes into the match, NK Dubrava Zagreb's goal looked a bit too open when Antun Bunić came free, but Kent Klint reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 31 played minutes --Sibenik-- got a freekick which was hit by Gradimir Venturin. In the 36th minute, Antun Bunić left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The --Sibenik-- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Alen Kovič made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Jakab Soós sent off a good shot on target. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

NK Dubrava Zagreb made a substitution. Ilko Lokin replaced Charles Mariano. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kazimir Pendo made a kick off. In the 54th minute Borislav Tvrdić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kent Klint saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Antun Bunić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kazimir Pendo during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 60 played minutes NK Dubrava Zagreb got a freekick which was hit by Kazimir Pendo. Jasenko Rogošić recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. NK Dubrava Zagreb made a substitution. Gordan Sedmak replaced Jakab Soós. NK Dubrava Zagreb made a substitution. Antun Zahora replaced Kazimir Pendo. After 70 minutes, Gordan Sedmak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NK Dubrava Zagreb and the --Sibenik-- players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 70th match minute, NK Dubrava Zagreb was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gordan Sedmak to maneuver through the defense. Gordan Sedmak took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alen Kovič. Alen Kovič dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Ludo Lambert hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gordan Sedmak in the 90th minute of play forced --Sibenik--'s goalkeeper Alen Kovič to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gradimir Venturin kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 5-2 when Antun Zahora sped through --Sibenik--'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alen Kovič. Many of --Sibenik--'s supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. --Sibenik-- may have spent more time on the ball, but NK Dubrava Zagreb were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
