He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Sebestyén Soós's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but János Földvári read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. In the 15th minute Jiang Shi Chao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronny Engström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jiang Shi Chao in the 17th minute of play forced Dunakeszi Lake City's goalkeeper Ronny Engström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Raitin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 20th minute, Hugo Raitin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Hugo Raitin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Dunakeszi Lake City's Hugo Raitin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of János Földvári. That made the score 1-0 after 32 minutes of play. Ronny Engström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dávid Baroch went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Dunakeszi Lake City were furious when Gao Yin Yuan was red carded, 39 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Dunakeszi Lake City:s Ronny Engström showed great skill when he stopped Bruno Alberico:s penalty. Ronny Engström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dávid Baroch in the 43rd minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dávid Baroch stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Dunakeszi Lake City's goal looked a bit too open when Dávid Baroch came free, but Ronny Engström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. János Földvári made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Szilárd Gyurkovics got free with Ronny Engström in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dunakeszi Lake City's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
