Csabagyöngye's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rich Durbridge in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute Csabagyöngye were awarded a corner. Rich Durbridge went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Csabagyöngye's Gergely Dobi to a score. 1-1 in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Raitin in the 43rd minute of play forced Csabagyöngye's goalkeeper Péter Mészáros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. János Kovács's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ronny Engström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Hugo Raitin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Péter Mészáros was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The supporters of Dunakeszi Lake City booed when Csabagyöngye was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lajos Kárpáthy didn't get a good kick on the ball. János Kovács fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronny Engström having to interfere. Dunakeszi Lake City's Miklós Kolozsvári was substituted for József Földvári. 81 minutes into the match, Csabagyöngye's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Raitin came free, but Péter Mészáros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. János Kovács's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ronny Engström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Péter Mészáros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maximo Bartolome's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Csabagyöngye's zone, Maximo Bartolome stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Péter Mészáros came out of the goal and Maximo Bartolome tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Dunakeszi Lake City had won after a very even match.
