When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Adrianinho Vasconcelos put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Urbano Saturnin. Calenzano's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Carter Di Fazio scored to the left of an out of position Felix Ivarsson, making the score, 1-1. Sao Brasola's Urbano Saturnin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Achille Sciamanna in the 36th minute of play. Urbano Saturnin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Achille Sciamanna in the 37th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Ennio Daniele left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Calenzano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 43rd minute, Ennio Daniele ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Urbano Saturnin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carter Di Fazio made a kick off. Calenzano's Comunardo Chizzo was substituted for Ennio Daniele. Alessio Santini kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. If Arturo Di Matteo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 64 minutes into the match, Sao Brasola's goalkeeper Urbano Saturnin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arturo Di Matteo. Felix Ivarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 邓剑冰, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arturo Di Matteo in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Urbano Saturnin saved Sao Brasola from getting behind. The supporters of Calenzano booed when Sao Brasola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Georges-Philippe Coussement didn't get a good kick on the ball. Urbano Saturnin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arturo Di Matteo in the 81st minute. Emilio Marshall struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Felix Ivarsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sao Brasola. Felix Ivarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 邓剑冰 in the 87th minute of the match. A collision led to Sao Brasola getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Elia Di Vincenzo hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arturo Di Matteo in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Urbano Saturnin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Sao Brasola getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. 邓剑冰 hit a great ball. Arturo Di Matteo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Urbano Saturnin firmly grabbed it by the left post. Concetto Mascitti hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The Calenzano supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Calenzano would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
