Alexsandro Godoi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alessandro Buffone's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute, Luizão Castro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pär Are was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Pär Are showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luizão Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute, Luizão Castro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Infami di Canaus fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Pär Are made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Leizarraga in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute of the game Edoardo Di Mattia made a throw-in which Alessandro Buffone played forward. Luizão Castro scored 0-6 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pär Are, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Coviolo's Pär Are played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luizão Castro in the 41st minute of play. In the 44th minute, Luizão Castro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pär Are was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luizão Castro was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Luizão Castro made a precise shot to the right of Pär Are. Coviolo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. After some careless play in the Coviolo defense, Comunardo Cerri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pär Are. The Coviolo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pär Are should have stopped the shot. In the 86th minute, Comunardo Cerri made a precise shot to the right of Pär Are. Coviolo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-13. 89 minutes into the match, Coviolo's goalkeeper Pär Are had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ezequiel Leizarraga. Coviolo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Cesare Punta scored to the left of an out of position Pär Are, making the score, 0-14.
