Spectators: 10486 (Terracing: 7800, Seating: 2486, VIP seats: 200) AC Roma's Alvaro Sforza started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Alvaro Sforza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Urbano Saturnin was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Cristoforo Brillante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Daniel Capone in the 9th minute of play. AC Roma's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alvaro Sforza in the 13th minute. The corner led AC Roma's Gigi Chificeac to fire away a dangerous shot which Urbano Saturnin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Cristoforo Brillante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierrot Leenpoels in the 15th minute of play. After 19 played minutes AC Roma got a freekick which was hit by Richard Askelöf. Urbano Saturnin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Sforza in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Sforza in the 22nd minute of play forced Sao Brasola's goalkeeper Urbano Saturnin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Sao Brasola's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Sforza came free, but Urbano Saturnin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Urbano Saturnin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javier Della Francesca, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After 30 played minutes Sao Brasola got a freekick which was hit by Pierrot Leenpoels. Urbano Saturnin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alvaro Sforza's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. In the 42nd minute Pierrot Leenpoels shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristoforo Brillante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Pierrot Leenpoels ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristoforo Brillante was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Sao Brasola made a substitution. Camillo Galeone replaced Emilio Paglione. The wind increased when Ernesto Daniel Capone made the kick off in the second half. Urbano Saturnin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Sforza in the 53rd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 65 minutes, Urbano Saturnin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Pierrot Leenpoels took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristoforo Brillante. Cristoforo Brillante dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Sao Brasola's Carter Di Fazio was substituted for Pierrot Leenpoels. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Sforza in the 74th minute of play forced Sao Brasola's goalkeeper Urbano Saturnin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AC Roma's Cristoforo Brillante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Daniel Capone in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Sforza in the 81st minute of play forced Sao Brasola's goalkeeper Urbano Saturnin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of AC Roma booed when Sao Brasola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camillo Galeone didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute, Carter Di Fazio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sao Brasola fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After 89 played minutes Sao Brasola got a freekick which was hit by Ken Adams. After 90 played minutes, AC Roma's Alvaro Sforza shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Urbano Saturnin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AC Roma reached it. The supporters of AC Roma booed when Sao Brasola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Georges-Philippe Coussement didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95thth minute of the game Carter Di Fazio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AC Roma's Cristoforo Brillante was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sao Brasola's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
