If Miguel Sanches had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 12th minute Miguel Sanches shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Juncker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Henry Juncker managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when FC Lëtzebuerg's Miguel Sanches fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Henry Juncker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Sanches, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Miguel Sanches managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Lëtzebuerg's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Sanches was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henry Juncker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

After having played for 67 minutes, Yannick Bartz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Lëtzebuerg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yannick Bartz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Henry Juncker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Sanches in the 72nd minute of play. FC Lëtzebuerg's Yannick Bartz got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Lëtzebuerg's attentive Adrian Duldurescu managed to snatch the ball when Rudolph Hauck made a throw-in in the 75th minute of the game. The FC Lëtzebuerg fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when FC Lëtzebuerg's Miguel Sanches looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Miguel Sanches sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Henry Juncker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Sanches in the 79th minute of the match. Henry Juncker came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Lëtzebuerg's Miguel Sanches. But to his dismay, Miguel Sanches quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. FC Lëtzebuerg's Yannick Bartz got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 90th minute, Miguel Sanches left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Lëtzebuerg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 12-0. FC Lëtzebuerg walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
