Mondorf Forest's Martin Steffen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tymoteusz Zukowski in the 35th minute of play. Martin Steffen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timothy Pflüger, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Jerry Hasselbach kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tymoteusz Zukowski was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Milo Bachmayer managed to get in a good position for a shot. La MadeLaine Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Milo Bachmayer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Steffen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mondorf Forest's Stefan Horowitz was substituted for Edmondo Venditti. Mondorf Forest made a substitution. Vincent Gessler replaced Linus Göbl. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Freddie Kremer during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mondorf Forest's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
