When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Martijn Jol sped through Pisang Goreng United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Antoon Zeegers. After having played for 14 minutes, Reinier Ieberink managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stommeer A's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reinier Ieberink was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The coaching staff of Pisang Goreng United protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ted van Duuren had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pisang Goreng United fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 20th minute. Penalty! After some careless play in the Pisang Goreng United defense, Martijn Jol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Antoon Zeegers. The Pisang Goreng United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Antoon Zeegers should have stopped the shot. In the 46th minute, Mickael Knops hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vinícius Junior to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Pisang Goreng United's zone, Martijn Jol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antoon Zeegers came out of the goal and Martijn Jol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Generoso Normando could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Antoon Zeegers made a huge save. The supporters of Pisang Goreng United booed when Stommeer A was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Zarco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucio Morningstar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgardo Oinaz having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Pisang Goreng United's Jochem Strobos got a free kick in the 73rd minute. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Generoso Normando sped through Pisang Goreng United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Antoon Zeegers. Pisang Goreng United made a substitution. Fabian Kremer replaced Vincent Frankena. 86 minutes into the match, Generoso Normando notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Pisang Goreng United's Antoon Zeegers. Antoon Zeegers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfredo Zarco during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 95th minute, Alfredo Zarco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over Stommeer A could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pisang Goreng United throughout the match.
