Joop Bakker in the 9thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Antoon Zeegers, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martijn August in the 11th minute of play forced Pisang Goreng United's goalkeeper Antoon Zeegers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute Vincent Frankena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurício Bomba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antoon Zeegers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martijn August in the 26th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Bal op het Dak's zone, Vincent Frankena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurício Bomba came out of the goal and Vincent Frankena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pisang Goreng United's Antoon Zeegers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Pisang Goreng United from getting a goal against them. In the 42nd minute Martijn August shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoon Zeegers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antoon Zeegers made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Dan Kjellman sent off a good shot on target. In the 46th minute, FC Bal op het Dak's Dan Kjellman dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

FC Bal op het Dak made a substitution. Marick Brunt replaced Aristides Gombal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vincent Frankena stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Pisang Goreng United's goal looked a bit too open when Marick Brunt came free, but Antoon Zeegers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pisang Goreng United were furious when Ted van Duuren was red carded, 60 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pisang Goreng United. Antoon Zeegers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Mendes in the 65th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joop Bakker in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antoon Zeegers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vincent Frankena got free with Maurício Bomba in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Antoon Zeegers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Kjellman in the 77th minute of play. Pisang Goreng United's Antoon Zeegers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joop Bakker in the 79th minute of play. Dan Kjellman scored 3-0 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Antoon Zeegers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Antoon Zeegers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joop Bakker in the 88th minute of play. FC Bal op het Dak's Maurício Bomba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jos van Rijswijk in the 94th minute of play.
