An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Ieltxu in the 9th minute of play forced Nenger de Penger FC's goalkeeper Laurens Roelfs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the last second Baal Vanger throw himself and got hold of the ball when Luis Ipar in the 16thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 20 minutes into the match, Nenger de Penger FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mathias Koole came free, but Laurens Roelfs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Maikel Douwes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Holtland FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Maikel Douwes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laurens Roelfs breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bertus Appel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baal Vanger having to make a save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sjef Fellinger stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Florian Schmidt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sjef Fellinger's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Laurens Roelfs firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 56th minute of the match Holtland FC got a corner. Nenger de Penger FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leonard Moberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. Laurens Roelfs made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Sjef Fellinger sent off a good shot on target. If Jose Ieltxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 62nd minute Luis Ipar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baal Vanger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Musios Matsoukis was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 68 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the game, one of Nenger de Penger FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 70 minutes, Holtland FC's Mathias Koole got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Laurens Roelfs. Ni Jun Tian hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Holtland FC made a substitution. Benjamin Lyle replaced Jonathan Hoogstrate. If Bertus Appel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Baal Vanger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertus Appel in the 87th minute of play. Holtland FC's Baal Vanger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitrie Fikkers in the 90th minute of play. In the 91st minute of the match Nenger de Penger FC got a corner. Holtland FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag.
