Spectators: 9361 (Terracing: 7022, Seating: 2153, VIP seats: 186) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bernard Kolano got the match started through his kick off. Bernard Kolano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Baal Vanger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Falco Pruischer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinny Jones in the 5th minute of play. Falco Pruischer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathias Koole, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Baal Vanger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Volponi in the 11th minute of play. Baal Vanger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from I-Made You in the 12th minute of play. In the 12th minute, I-Made You ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baal Vanger was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Holtland FC's Baal Vanger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by I-Made You in the 16th minute of play. After some careless play in the Holtland FC defense, Bernard Kolano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baal Vanger. The Holtland FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baal Vanger should have stopped the shot. Roel Ravenbergen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. I-Made You might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baal Vanger. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. I-Made You ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers I-Made You in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baal Vanger saved Holtland FC from getting behind. After 26 played minutes Holtland FC got a freekick which was hit by Mathias Koole. Maikel Douwes's late challenge caught a Who Ate All Depay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maikel Douwes helped the player get up and apologised. After 31 played minutes Holtland FC got a freekick which was hit by Maikel Douwes. After 33 minutes, Neninho Vicioso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Who Ate All Depay and the Holtland FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 33 played minutes Who Ate All Depay got a freekick which was hit by Neninho Vicioso. 34 minutes into the match, Who Ate All Depay's goal looked a bit too open when Mathias Koole came free, but Falco Pruischer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Holtland FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Volponi came free, but Baal Vanger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernard Kolano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46th minute of the game, Vinny Jones landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The supporters of Holtland FC booed when Who Ate All Depay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tor-Egil Gjertsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Who Ate All Depay were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sjef Fellinger made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Mathias Koole ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Falco Pruischer was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Mathias Koole managed to get in a good position for a shot. Holtland FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mathias Koole was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Falco Pruischer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Who Ate All Depay's zone, Benjamin Lyle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Falco Pruischer came out of the goal and Benjamin Lyle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernard Kolano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baal Vanger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sjef Fellinger in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Falco Pruischer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 70th minute of the match Holtland FC got a corner. Who Ate All Depay's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leonard Moberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. Maikel Douwes was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Who Ate All Depay's Luke Clist was substituted for Roel Ravenbergen. I-Made You's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baal Vanger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Who Ate All Depay's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Ieltxu came free, but Falco Pruischer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Holtland FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leonard Moberg in the 81st minute. Holtland FC's Mathias Koole was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Falco Pruischer in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Holtland FC's Mathias Koole in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Who Ate All Depay's goalie prevented a goal. Bernard Kolano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With 86 minutes on the clock, Jonathan Hoogstrate commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A collision led to Holtland FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Jonathan Hoogstrate hit a great ball. Who Ate All Depay made a substitution. Jeremie Frimpong replaced I-Made You. After 88 played minutes Holtland FC got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Hoogstrate. Baal Vanger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luke Clist in the 94th minute. 95 minutes into the match, Holtland FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremie Frimpong came free, but Baal Vanger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 96 minutes had been played when some careless play by Holtland FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tor-Egil Gjertsen was slow to take the kick. During this time Who Ate All Depay's players had a chance to rest. The Who Ate All Depay supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Who Ate All Depay would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
