Casper Hulsebos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roel Ravenbergen, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Casper Hulsebos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernard Kolano in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roy de Boer in the 15th minute of play forced Who Ate All Depay's goalkeeper Falco Pruischer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Birjaio Basozabal took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Falco Pruischer to make any attempt to save it. After 23 minutes, Birjaio Basozabal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Real Leonana and the Who Ate All Depay players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Who Ate All Depay booed when FC Real Leonana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Birjaio Basozabal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Who Ate All Depay's goalkeeper Falco Pruischer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 40th minute Alex Volponi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Hulsebos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute Roy de Boer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falco Pruischer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Falco Pruischer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stamatis Pegiadis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roy de Boer to make the kick off. With a little luck, FC Real Leonana's Casper Hulsebos got control of the ball when Alex Volponi tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 89th minute, Roy de Boer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 94 played minutes Who Ate All Depay got a freekick which was hit by Marc Ado. FC Real Leonana's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
