İskender Baki Sabi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Jan-Ove Springfält tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tom Røise made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torjus Fjellheim in the 35th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Åsnes's corner Jarl Rossebø fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jan-Ove Springfält quite easily take care of the ball. Tom Røise showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torjus Fjellheim in the 45th minute of the match. After the first half Åsnes were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lars Oftedal made a kick off. Jan-Ove Springfält took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İskender Baki Sabi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Oftedal in the 56th minute of play forced Åsnes's goalkeeper Tom Røise to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute Lars Oftedal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Røise saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan-Ove Springfält came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Åsnes's Kálmán Pádár. But to his dismay, Kálmán Pádár quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Åsnes's Tom Røise played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Mauseth in the 66th minute of play. Åsnes's Pejman Zahedi managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Arnold Evans in the 69 minute of the game. İskender Baki Sabi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If İskender Baki Sabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Suleskard's Jan-Ove Springfält got control of the ball when İskender Baki Sabi tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 82nd match minute, Suleskard was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anders Myrvang to maneuver through the defense. Jan-Ove Springfält showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kálmán Pádár, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. If İskender Baki Sabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Åsnes walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
