The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Skjaldbørg's Thomas Øvrelid got a free kick in the 6th minute. After 10 played minutes Saga TF got a freekick which was hit by Truls Landsem. A collision led to Saga TF getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Peter Lindberg hit a great ball. Trygve Aure made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roch Komornicki in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Saga TF's goalkeeper Joachim Forseth had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Stenstad. 35 minutes into the match, Peter Lindberg notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Skjaldbørg's Trygve Aure. Trygve Aure was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Trygve Aure took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Truls Landsem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Horaţiu Dudău kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Julian Stenstad had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joachim Forseth. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roch Komornicki to make the kick off. Truls Landsem could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Trygve Aure made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulvio Del Grosso in the 56th minute of play forced Saga TF's goalkeeper Joachim Forseth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joachim Forseth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ask Hordvik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fulvio Del Grosso in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joachim Forseth saved Saga TF from getting behind. After 69th play minutes Truls Landsem shot 1-3, a short shot which went by Trygve Aure and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of Saga TF booed when Skjaldbørg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 80th minute Roch Komornicki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trygve Aure saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Julian Stenstad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Saga TF walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
