A very good chance for a goal. 12 minutes into the match, Kjønstad BF's goalkeeper Fred Bonk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by İskender Baki Sabi. Fred Bonk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Al Wieczorek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tom Røise took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Cedro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. İskender Baki Sabi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Halvard Knutsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Halvard Knutsen in the 23rd minute of play forced Åsnes's goalkeeper Tom Røise to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustav Kleiv kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. With 26 minutes on the clock, Gustav Kleiv commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a rather tough play, Kjønstad BF's Gustav Kleiv got a free kick in the 27th minute. Kjønstad BF's Hans Hagen was substituted for Celso Cedro. A collision led to Kjønstad BF getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Gustav Kleiv hit a great ball. It was beautiful to see Åsnes's Jan-Arne Krogstad in action when he in the 29th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! İskender Baki Sabi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fred Bonk firmly grabbed it by the left post. Tom Røise came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Kjønstad BF's Halvard Knutsen. But to his dismay, Halvard Knutsen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Al Wieczorek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Åsnes's supporters rose to their feet, but Al Wieczorek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fred Bonk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kjønstad BF's Tolga Şakib managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jan-Arne Krogstad in the 40 minute of the game. If İskender Baki Sabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 44 minutes, Eskil Tande mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kjønstad BF and the Åsnes players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kjønstad BF's goalkeeper Fred Bonk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jan-Arne Krogstad hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. The Åsnes players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kjønstad BF were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Halvard Knutsen made a kick off. Åsnes were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Kjønstad BF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kálmán Pádár took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Al Wieczorek managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Halvard Knutsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom Røise having to interfere. Tom Røise was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Halvard Knutsen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Halvard Knutsen really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Fred Bonk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İskender Baki Sabi in the 69th minute of play. After 76 played minutes Kjønstad BF got a freekick which was hit by Storm Helvik. İskender Baki Sabi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fred Bonk having to make a save. Fred Bonk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İskender Baki Sabi in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Halvard Knutsen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kjønstad BF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Kjønstad BF eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
