An unexpectedly hard shot by Silviu Leahu in the 4th minute of play forced FK Dampsaga's goalkeeper Bakezda Mann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FK Dampsaga booed when Saga TF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kent-Are Tvedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marius Kleven kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haluk Pamir in the 32nd minute of play forced Saga TF's goalkeeper Joachim Forseth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bakezda Mann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Lindberg in the 33rd minute of play. FK Dampsaga's Haluk Pamir got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 41 played minutes FK Dampsaga got a freekick which was hit by Claes Sundström. Peter Lindberg scored 0-1 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bakezda Mann, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The FK Dampsaga players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Saga TF were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gunnar Dyrstad made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gunnar Dyrstad in the 59th minute of play forced Saga TF's goalkeeper Joachim Forseth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bakezda Mann made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Truls Landsem sent off a good shot on target. After 68 played minutes Saga TF got a freekick which was hit by Jedrzej Chrzan. Saga TF made a substitution. Brian Laudrup replaced 毛思伟. Joachim Forseth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haluk Pamir in the 71st minute of play. FK Dampsaga's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Robert Sandberg in the 72nd minute. Thanks to some nice moves Truls Landsem could shoot a difficult shot in the 74th minute, which Bakezda Mann however easily saved by the left post. In the 76th minute, Peter Lindberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Saga TF's Peter Lindberg got a free kick in the 78th minute. 84 minutes into the match, FK Dampsaga's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Nannskog came free, but Bakezda Mann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute Daniel Nannskog shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bakezda Mann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Although FK Dampsaga had been in control for most of the match, Saga TF still came away with the win.
