Kjønstad BF's Fred Bonk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Truls Landsem in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th minute Daniel Nannskog shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Bonk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fred Bonk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Truls Landsem, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Fred Bonk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Truls Landsem in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Halvard Knutsen in the 29th minute of play forced Saga TF's goalkeeper Joachim Forseth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Halvard Knutsen scored 2-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joachim Forseth, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fred Bonk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silviu Leahu in the 37th minute of the match. After 39 played minutes Saga TF got a freekick which was hit by Peter Lindberg. Daniel Nannskog fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred Bonk having to interfere. Fred Bonk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roch Komornicki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fred Bonk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roch Komornicki's shot from short distance in the 47th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roch Komornicki was the one to do the kick off. Daniel Nannskog could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Fred Bonk made a huge save. With a little luck, Kjønstad BF's Fred Bonk got control of the ball when Daniel Nannskog tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 57th minute Celso Cedro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joachim Forseth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, Halvard Knutsen made a precise shot to the right of Joachim Forseth. Saga TF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Many of Saga TF's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Saga TF may have spent more time on the ball, but Kjønstad BF were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
